Family Support Services' mission is to nurture children, youth, and caregivers to keep families healthy and intact.
We are looking for respite providers to provide specialized care for children to give parents and other caregivers a break from the daily demands of caring for their children. The majority of those who receive respite are under 18 years of age, though East Bay Respite also cares for adults with developmental disabilities still living in the family home. Eligible families include: those who have children with developmental disability, are medically fragile, are substance exposed, are abused or neglected (or at-risk for abuse or neglect), or challenged by other special needs.
