(BOP) - The Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, CA, is seeking individuals interested in working with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). A Career Fair, with special emphasis on Correctional Officers and Staff Psychologists*, is scheduled for Thursday, August 29 from 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at FCI Dublin, 5701 8th Street - Camp Parks, Dublin, CA 94568. Interested applicants should bring a resume and two forms of identification. Veterans should also bring a DD-214 and a VA Disability Certificate, if applicable.
Please note: Federal regulations require BOP employees to be under 37 years old when hired. U.S. citizenship is also required. Candidates are subject to a drug urinalysis, physical examination and background investigation. Additionally, those hired must successfully complete "Introduction to Correctional Techniques" in Glynco, Georgia.
