About the role:
As a Test and Deployment Technician, you will be responsible for:
Test machines as outlined in the testing plans, evaluate performance, troubleshoot issues, and report findings to engineering teams. Your suggestions directly improve the customer experience
Maintaining and managing equipment and testing site to facilitate rapid testing
Loading and transporting of tractors (familiarity with pulling a truck and trailer)
Keep people and equipment safe during testing of software and hardware
Support the service team with basic mechanical and electrical improvements to both tractor and testing site;
Support Tractor assembly when not testing
Other duties as assigned

An Ideal candidate has:
Tractor driving experience;
Mechanical ability and experience working hands-on in the field;
Proven written communication skills and the ability to use software tools like Jira, Microsoft Excel, Word;
Excellent verbal communications skills;
The ability to work collaboratively with a team;
Nice to haves include:
Experience managing field/test sites
Passion for sustainability, innovative technologies, and agriculture
Experience with robotics and automation, experience with ROS a plus
Paid with competitive compensation & benefits packages
In-person at our outdoor Livermore field site-- masks required, no more than 5 people on-site at one time.
~30-40 hours/ week but flexibility is ideal (some days start/end late or start/end early)
