This position is responsible for content writing for all Bio-Rad's Quality Systems Business Products for Technical and Marketing content.
This position is eligible for a hybrid/flexible schedule.
The Technical Writer II designs, researches, writes and produces content for Bio-Rad's Unity Software products, including Customer-facing tools, Instructional Material, Marketing and Educational content.
Content would include:
• Customer-facing tools for user manuals and help guides (print and/or digital forms) to support the use of Quality Systems business. informatics software, tools and services.
• Instructional materials for the training and on-boarding of customers to Quality Systems business software and informatics-based tools/products whether these are used for in-person, remote, or self-quided instruction and hints as well as guides.
• Marketing content to support the advertising, promotion, web content, sales tools and other materials for customers to find, consider and decide which products serve their needs.
•Educational and technical content such as white papers, technical papers, presentations, videos, etc., to support the Quality Systems business.
Education: Bachelor's degree in English, composition, technical writing, science, or another related field.
Experience: 5+ years producing engaging and clear content for a medical technology or software company is highly desired.
Skills: Solid writing prowess, detail oriented, excellent researcher, ability to accurately translate complex topics to a variety of audiences, excellent communication skills, excellent multitasking employee who can shift from one project to the next and the ability to partner with others on projects. Adobe Creative Cloud, graphics, or data visualization experience is preferred.
Note: A portfolio or examples of past professional work is desired. A writing sample developed as a writing exercise
may be requested from candidates during the interview process.
