Job Description

Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking a highly proactive leader with expertise in Order to Cash end to end process and operations. If you are a demonstrated leader with a breadth of experience in OTC processes and systems, Project Management, Process Excellence and Change Management, we'd like to hear from you.


In this role as the Sr Dir, Global Process Owner (GPO) of Order to Cash (OTC),  your primary responsibility will be to lead and provide the OTC end-to-end process and continuous improvement with full Global accountability and oversight of governance, policy, processes, subprocesses, system implementation and KPI analytics. The primary objective is to harmonize the customer experience and the financial success of the global process. 


You will act as a matrix leader to guide business process owners, department leaders, and key stakeholders who are responsible, accountable, consulted, or informed of the relevant end-to end process. 


In this highly collaborative role, you will establish a trusted environment and lead by influence in a cross functional environment.  You will be both a tactical hands on leader with the process users and business partners as well as a strategic leader building the right analysis and delivering insights to enable decision making at the Executive Level.


How You’ll Make An Impact: 



  • Own OTC end-to-end Process and drive continuous improvement by identifying areas of improvement, prioritizing based on expected business value, directing and overseeing a portfolio of improvement projects with cross functional teams from Global Commercial Operations, Global Supply Chain, Finance, and IT. 

  • Provide strategic direction to a team of internal Subject Matter Experts, Peer Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Business Process Owners (BPOs) to deliver continuous process improvement of Bio-Rad's OTC process to reach and sustain a best-in-class performance. 

  • Partner with IT on OTC system implementation and identify opportunities for Robotic Process Automation and application of Artificial Intelligence solutions to further OTC Ene to End process efficiency. 

  • Ensure all required inputs are being fed into Bio-Rad's Enterprise Systems (Kinaxis, SAP, EPM, SFDC, PowerBI, etc) and that these Enterprise systems are the sole system and source of truth for Order to Cash. 

  • Ensure that processes are sufficiently documented, and that this documentation is well maintained. 

  • Track, monitor, report OTC process health through dashboard and take appropriate corrective action in areas of concerns. 

  • Support continuous education, as required, to ensure broad organizational support and alignment behind the OTC process especially during periods when there are personnel changes. 

  • Provide Executive Team members with information that supports decision making so that decisions enable the company to reach its strategic and financial objectives. 

  • Make recommendations and decisions to optimize overall business results rather than functional or team results.

  • Ensure that KPI's are sufficient and meaningful to help manage Bio-Rad's management decision making and performance monitoring. 

  • Solicit and capture feedback from business partners, lead an annual process audit and assessment.

  • Review with process leaders any weaknesses in their part of the OTC End to End process and collaborate with them to develop and execute improvement plans. 

  • Assess subject matter expertise and the effectiveness of organizational design. Ensure they are optimum or formulate proposals to evolve organizational design and/or expertise as relevant. 

  • Lead Sales and Operation Execution (S&OE) Weekly review. Lead business performance analysis and create cohesive reporting from Global Commercial Revenue Operations, Global Supply Chain, and Finance on respective performance regarding demand, supply, and revenue short-term target compared to Quarterly Finance and Quarterly S&OP outlook forecasts. Ultimately, partner with Finance to report weekly on the ongoing financial health of the business.


What You Bring: 



  •  Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is.a plus. PMP certification desirable and preferred 

  • 15+ years of progressive, demonstrated Order to Cash Commercial Operations and/ or Finance experience with focused areas including one or more of the following; order management, customer master data, billing/invoicing, collection, dispute management, sales and revenue forecasting, and revenue recognition 

  • 10+ years in a related progressive management role with end-to-end process accountability and a global scope. 

  • Prior experience in implementing a Global process model for Order to Cash 

  • Strong combination of Order to Cash expertise and business acumen. 

  • Process Excellence and LEAN experience as a practitioner highly desirable. 

  • Expert time management and personal organizational skills. 

  • Self-motivated continuous learner, strong attention to detail and results driven. Able to excel in a fast-paced, complex and ambiguous environment.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $221,000 to $304,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
