Job Description

As a Sr. Cloud Test Automation, you will attend and manage Daily Scrum, Demos, Ceremonies and ensure status is appropriately communicated. Sync-up with Onsite and Offshore teams and collaborate to ensure timely Quality deliverables in support of Business Objectives. Escalate Risks, Roadblocks appropriately. Architect the Test Automation Framework, Performance testing, manual and own appropriate test plans, test strategy, test cases and reviews.

 

How You’ll Make An Impact:


  • Contribute to and lead quality delivery of production web and API applications on AWS cloud.

  • Create and maintain automated test cases, test plans and manage test cycles.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites in a continuous integration environment.

  • Recommend and implement best practices for automated test framework and development.

  • Work collaboratively with agile feature teams to bring more code coverage to applications through the full software lifecycle.

  • Evaluate testing gaps and provide solutions at the unit, integration, system, stress, and regression levels.

  • Learn and understand project/customer objectives to better draft and implement testing strategies.

  • Troubleshoot, reproduce, fix and verify defects.

  • Solve cutting-edge technical challenges that have real impact on healthcare quality. Recognize areas of improvement and define a plan for realizing the improvement.

  • Understand the current testing coverage and suggest changes to it.

  • Support Manual, Automation and Performance Test needs

  • Research trends, tools, and methodologies to upgrade current systems and processes.

  • Support Performance Test needs with hands-on experience using JMeter, Blazemeter

What You Bring:


  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. 

  • Certifications in Cloud related technologies is a plus. 

  • Minimum of 8+ years of software quality automation development and integration experience

  • Must be able to work with little to no supervision

  • Experience in one or more of Java, C#, Object Oriented Language, Go, SQL

  • Experience and understanding of best practices such as design patterns, code coverage via unit test and test driven development.

  • Desired key skills and knowledge of following technologies: Selenium, Protractor, JMeter, BlazeMeter, Postman, Insomnia, Mocha, Chai, Confluence, JIRA, GitHub, UML, Postgres

  • Define and document best practices and strategies regarding automated test framework, development and data sets.

  • Define automation strategies.

  • Experience in AWS core services.

  • Life Sciences, Health Care industry is a plus.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
