Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be:

  • Providing financial direction, guidance, oversight, and support for all Groups (CDG/LSG) FP&A activities.

  • Financial advisor for the Groups Business partners.

  • Responsible for all Groups Top-Line activities.

  • Supporting operational analysis for profitability and projects/programs as requested by Group managements.

  • Leading and supporting the Groups business teams in annual operating budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Ensures all accounting and financial reporting is in accordance with GAAP and the Corporate Accounting Manual requirements. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Prepares monthly full P&L variance analysis of actuals to forecast and budget, explain and investigate any major discrepancies, and understand key business drivers. 

  • Prepares monthly presentations on financial results for use by executive management. 

  • Creates and maintains financial models relating to new products, gross margin analyses, and other financial opportunities. 

  • Supports reporting needs across different levels of the business. 

  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis.

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

  • You will identify business/financial process improvement opportunities, support monthly financial reporting, support engagement with group management to provide financial visibility for decision making, implement approved plan and monitor financial results in accordance with targets. 

  • You will build strong relationships with finance business partners and provide accurate analysis. 

  • You will research and respond timely and accurately to finance and business partner inquiries.

What You Bring: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in finance or related area. 

  • Experience: Prior experience supporting finance function at a Biotech company, with exposure around analyzing R&D or OpEx preferred. 

  • Familiar with analytics methodologies, concepts, tools and experience in building models based on these methods. 

  • Proactive leader exhibiting strong influencing capabilities with business partners and a willingness to maintain open and transparent communication across multiple levels, functions and geographies of the organization. 

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with finance and non-finance business partners. 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail. 

  • Strong MS Excel skills and overall proficiency in MS Office. 

  • Strong knowledge in SAP and experience in Accounting or Planning software preferred. 

  • PowerBI or related experience preferred. 

  • Exposure to analytical tools a plus.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $102,200 to $140,500 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
