A Production Chemist I will work in an FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing lab making reagents to support Bio- Rad’s product lines. They will be trained on following Material Batch Records for creating an array of buffers, diluents, conjugates, positive controls and negative controls. They will work with a small team to meet Bio-Rad’s production needs and assist in lab upkeep.
The Global Supply Chain team is responsible for promptly and accurately getting Bio-Rad products into the hands of our customers. We maintain product integrity from end to end and respond expeditiously from the moment an order is received. As a result, customers around the globe receive the test kits, instruments, and consumable solutions they need on time and in full to ultimately provide better healthcare and outcomes for their patients.

- Helping provide quality products to the market that help providers and patients directly by providing cutting edge testing supplies.
- Identifying and addressing quality issues: By identifying quality issues and raising them to the attention of the appropriate individuals or teams, you can help prevent recurring issues and ensure that products and processes meet the required standards. Additionally, by contributing to the continuous improvement of the processes, you can help minimize errors and improve efficiency.
- Collaborating with other teams: As a Production Chemist, you will have the opportunity to work with different teams in the organization, including Quality Control, Planning, R&D, Material Handling, and Filling. By Collaborating with these teams, you can contribute to the overall success of the organization by providing critical feedback on quality issues and working together to improve processes and products.
- Providing assistance in lab upkeep, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and order requests are submitted on time for indirect material orders.
- Ensuring safety protocols are upheld. Providing daily reports on safety concerns.
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field
- Work Experience: 1-2 years working in a general manufacturing environment formulating products in the areas of biological sciences, life sciences, or an equivalent.

This position is eligible for a $2,500 HIRING BONUS: Offered for a limited time only. Applicable to specific positions as labeled. Recipients must be employed at the time of payout. Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $65,480 to $75,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
