High School Diploma or GED a must, 2-4 years of college preferred;
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
Working knowledge of algebra and MS Office, Excel specifically, also required;
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume;
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry;
General machine shop skills, with prior experience with universal test equipment desired plus the ability to use band/table saws, drill press, sander, milling machine, and general mechanical testing and lab equipment;
Industrial lab experience highly desirable (preferably in a test and measurement environment);
Must be able to move and mount fixtures of up to 50 lbs.;
Must be flexible - this is a day shift position, but might require the working of 2nd shift for project purposes.
