Job Description

Employment Services recruiting for a Job Developer Supervisor to develop employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, oversee the Tailored Day Services Program (TDS), and to supervise Employment Specialists.

Duties:

  • Develop new relationships and employment positions with employers in a variety of industries to ensure successful job placement for graduates, TDS participants, and others that we support within our job development services
  • Assist in the development of State and Paid Internships
  • Negotiate and coordinate employment placements and employer incentives (WOTC, OJT, job coaching)
  • Coach and motivate job development participants during the job search and after placement to ensure job retention by supporting participants to establish employment goals, and identify areas that require additional support and/or training
  • Assist consumers to understand and report wages and subsidies in regards to Social Security
  • Develop and oversee ESA (assessments) and PVSA (support to address barriers to employment) services
  • Supervise and support the Employment Specialists to assist with employment development, ESA and PVSA services, TDS, and employment development
  • Gather, develop, and provide TDS participants employment-related materials and activities for weekly Job Club and 1:1 meetings
  • Provide 1:1 support to TDS participants
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly Job Club

Qualifications:

  • BA related to social services, career development, or marketing
  • Experience developing and maintaining on-going professional networks
  • Experience working with businesses and employers
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Zoom, database management, and basic accounting skills

The position is full-time, usually Monday through Friday with occasional early morning, late evening, and weekend hours.
