Job Description
Position is remote. Corporate offices are in Seattle, WA. Manager is located in Dublin, CA.

TheWMarketplace is a fun, fast paced, fast growing e-commerce platform. The customer service representative will work closely with the Business Operations team to ensure all 300+ merchants are satisfied and expectations are met. Candidate will be the first point-of-contact between TWM and merchants via the Customer Care email alias. Excellent written communication skills are a must. Candidate will review all listings, orders and inquiries and address in a timely manner. Candidate must be a problem solver, have strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva (a plus), Copyediting (a plus)

  • Project & time management: Multi-tasking is necessary for this position, Candidate must take high responsibility and prioritize tasks to meet the project deadlines.

  • Product and Service Listings - Review, edit (as necessary), approve or deny submitted product or service listings. Ensure all listings meet TWM criteria for image quality and size, accuracy in product description, sizing and pricing, tag correctly to help ensure best search results.

  • Communicate, via email, with merchants when listings require editing. Provide clear reason(s) why listing was not approved. Conduct follow-up, if necessary.

  • Product and Service Orders – Track orders so customer delivery expectations are met. TWM has a 72-hour shipping requirement. Inquire with sellers when orders are delayed, alert business team managers what orders are late for potential escalation.

  • Proactive personality and self-motivator

  • Demonstrates initiative with the ability to multi-task and detail oriented in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven to be organized, methodical, rigorous

  • Quick learner with the ability to absorb extensive information, product offerings and communications/program

  • Ensure all issues are properly analyzed, documented, logged, and resolved.

  • Be able to accurately and efficiently address merchants concerns and questions. Forward or notify to appropriate internal team members.

  • Conduct site audits periodically or as requested. Create report(s) for manager.
