Job Description

Performant has a great opportunity for a multi-faceted highly analytical Compensation professional that is looking for an opportunity to make an impact in a diverse, fast-paced business environment. This is a hands-on position with an opportunity to bring your ideas to design and infrastructure of base, variable, and other components of total rewards. Core responsibilities include, but not limited to:

•Plan, design, develop, implement, and establish infrastructure, policies and administration of Compensation and Rewards programs that are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and aligned with business.
•Collaborate with the HRIS Manager to map and develop infrastructure in our Workday platform to maximize efficiencies leveraging technology and approach to job codes, job families, leveling, and other components in the management and administration of programs.
•Conduct research and analysis in areas of compensation and rewards. 
•Develop and maintain job profiles and applicable leveling/attributes, compensation ranges, program participation, conduct Job evaluations, FLSA review etc.
•Identify and manage appropriate market data resources, participation and utilization
•Conduct compensation studies and lead the design and development of infrastructure for base compensation structures 
•Support analysis, design, development and management of variable incentive and equity compensation programs
•Develop or improve policies, guidelines and tools for compensation programs and serve as subject matter expert for development and delivery of communication and training for compensation and rewards programs. Partner with learning & development team members as applicable 
•Conduct analysis for various initiatives, investigations, and other business needs related to compensation, benefits and other rewards.  
•Collaborate effectively within the HR team as well as with management and key stakeholders across the company to deliver results
•Contribute to knowledge transfer and skill development in Compensation and Rewards to HR team members. 
•Ensures program policy and procedures are adhered to and that programs are on par with industry standards, while aligned with business needs and facilitating desired program outcomes
•Contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives 
•Responsible for approval and any written communication related to offers and employee compensation/rewards changes.
•Responsible for maintaining the calendar of applicable Compensation & Rewards programs, initiatives compliance and reporting requirements, etc. and ensure that activities are scheduled and delivered based upon internally developed timelines, legal and contractual requirements, as applicable.  
•Maintain current knowledge on compensation and  laws and regulations, tools, theories, and practical applications. 
•Develop ideas and proposals for continuous improvement of compensation and rewards programs, tools and infrastructure 
•Develop tools and processes to measure effectiveness of programs and infrastructure
•Demonstrate the ability to work in team environment where collaboration and the knowledge transfer process are critical for success.
•Effectively lead and manage resources either directly or indirectly as may be applicable 
•Other duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.


Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, Human Resources or relevant area preferred, but not required.
•Minimum of 5 years of progressive professional level experience in Compensation/Rewards, which includes demonstrated ability and ownership of program design, implementation and administration
•Experience developing and maintaining job profiles, job structures/job families, and related structures and designations for compensation and rewards programs, as well as tools and procedures and infrastructure for maintenance
•Experience with multiple Compensation/Rewards elements including, but not limited to, base, variable/incentive, and equity. Experience with other employee benefits and rewards programs highly desired.
•Experience in Government contracting environment and experience with Service Contract Act highly desired.
•CCP preferred (but not required if demonstrated competencies and experience)
•Experience leading and driving relevant projects and programs
•Experience directly or indirectly leading and managing HR support or analyst team members

Other Requirements:

- Must submit to and pass background check.
- Must not have any Federal or State liens resulting from County, State or Federal tax issues.
- Must not have any current defaulted student loans.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors.
- Must submit to and pass drug screen.
