JOB DESCRIPTION:
Limousine drivers can meet lots of interesting people, including politicians, businessmen, athletes and movie stars, as they pick them up and take them to various destinations. Anyone who desires a job as a limousine driver must be patient and dependable and have customer service skills. There are also several other requirements for this job.
A limo driver job description usually includes picking up clients and driving them to events and destinations such as weddings, meetings, celebrations, airports, hotels and transportation centers. They also help clients load and unload luggage and carry these items into hotels and airports.
Chauffeur’s are often responsible for keeping their vehicles clean and stocking limousines with beverages and snacks. Most limousine drivers are responsible for coordinating the maintenance and repair for their vehicles. They must also stay up-to-date on all traffic laws.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Commercial Class C, B, or A with a passenger endorsement
- Clean DMV record
- Pass & maintain biannual health physical
- Pass drug and alcohol tests and be subject to random testing.
- Dress professionally in a suit.
- Be dependable and have a friendly personality.
- Be able to lift 50+ pound suitcases.
