Job Description

Bio-Rad is seeking a Capital Equipment Sales - Core Laboratory Account Executive covering New York/ New Jersey US area working with local sales Account Managers to qualify and close diagnostics instruments.

Responsibilities


  • Develop & Execute a Territory Sales Plan.

  • Promote and Sell the Bio-Rad Core-lab Portfolio of Autoimmune, Infectious Disease and Diabetes products to achieve territory sales goals.

  • Build, Manage and Grow Instrument sales opportunity funnel.

  • Manage & Meet Customer expectations and deadlines.

  • Proactively partner and communicate with sales team to ensure achievement of territory sales goals.

  • Proactively update CRM(Salesforce) on a daily basis.

  • Proactively communicate with regional manager on activities, market trends, opportunities & forecast.

  • Demonstrate excellent oral & written communication skills within Bio-Rad and externally with customers.

  • Learn technical aspects of Core-lab product portfolio and learn to demo key products.

  • Assists on training Account Managers on instrumentation.

  • Ensures that all Administrative duties are completed in full and on time.

  • Some overnight travel is required (66%).

Qualifications


  • BA/BS in Life Science required.

  • MT or CLS, MBA Preferred.

  • 5+Years of sales experience with a strong focus on selling Capital equipment.

  • Previous experience selling to academic and community hospitals, reference laboratories & government Customers.

  • Previous experience working closely with team members and management.

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (Verbal & Written).

  • Highly motivated with a demonstrated track record of success.

  • Strong knowledge of Diagnostics lab space.

  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Microsoft office Suite.
