POSITION INFORMATION
Livermore Area Recreation and Park District is currently accepting applications for Associate Teacher.
Under immediate direction, plans and implements curriculum and instructional activities for Youth Services programs; continuously supervises and monitors children to ensure their safety and well-being; and performs related work as required.
Schedule: Monday- Friday. Varied schedule, 7 hours per day.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Health screenings of staff and children will be administered daily. Alameda Department of Public Heath and California Department of Health recommendations will be followed including wearing masks, social distancing and respecting a safe cohort. Health and safety training will be included in the orientation.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED, and 12 units in child development, or 6-9 units and currently enrolled in college level coursework in child development.
- Six months relevant experience working in a childcare facility.
