Job Description

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer III for the Life Sciences Group, you’ll design and develop test cases to support software platforms that advance biological discovery and medical diagnosis and treatment – improving the quality of life for patients around the world. You’ll apply your experience designing and developing test cases for verification and validation, participating in design reviews, documentation and automation testing using latest technologies like Python,C# and Selenium. You’ll also collaborate with a supportive and highly-knowledgeable team of engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders through every phase of the agile methodology to test software that help doctors more accurately diagnose patients and provide lifesaving treatment.


 


How You Will Make an Impact:



  • Deliver for our customers by developing high quality, test cases both manual and automation.

  • Define and refine test requirements for verification and validation.

  • Find, isolate, document regress and track defects through resolution.

  • Interpret and report testing results and be vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.

  • Ensure the highest standards for software testing, contributing your technical expertise in manual and automation testing.

  • Successfully collaborate with both software and hardware product teams.


What You Bring: 



  • 5 + years of experience as Software Quality Assurance Engineer on Embedded Systems.

  • A passion for customers and product delivery, knowledge of the Agile Methodology and experience testing complex software platforms via cross functional systems.

  • Highly motivated, organized and able to work on multiple projects at the same time.

  • Converting high level marketing or system requirements into firmware/software requirements and creating test cases for these requirements.

  • A deep understanding of test automation framework and continuous delivery /deployment: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing, Jenkins, AWS and CI/CD.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills and professional business demeanor.

  • Design, create tests for instrument software.

  • Experience working in an FDA regulated environment.

  • Experience with Jira or other project management and bug tracking software.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $102,200 to $140,500 at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
