Product Marketing Intern

We are looking for a Product Marketing Intern to work on Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR) products with a focus on life science research markets. In the role, you'll have a mentor to help you understand customer needs, develop business plans, and create marketing documents for the existing ddPCR product portfolio. You will be able to partner closely with teams from marketing and commercial teams to interview internal and external stakeholders to gain insights to their view of our product and business.

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

• This person will report into Product Marketing within the Digital Biology Instruments and Software Team. 


• Conduct internal and external market research to gather data on customer needs and use cases. 


• Make data-driven recommendations on developing products and/or collateral that add value to the existing product portfolio. 


• Create key marketing messages and documents. 


• Contribute to the new product roadmap and business strategy.

What You Bring: 

• Education: Third- or fourth-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in life science Masters or MBA student interested in marketing of Life Sciences products. 


• Strong communication skills with high emotional intelligence / empathy, including ability to ask questions, influence colleagues, and convey information to stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and disciplines. 


• Demonstrated ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and drive to conclusions/recommendations. 


• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment with competing deadlines and changing priorities. 


• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. 


• Experience in scientific laboratory research required – PCR, qPCR and/or ddPCR experience preferred. 


• Experience with market research or commercial projects preferred.

Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $25 at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
