Job Description

The Global Supply Chain’s Manufacturing team focuses on building high quality products for our customers in support of testing in clinical diagnostic labs and life sciences research. The Manufacturing teams are located in the Americas, Europe, and Singapore and produce regulated and non-regulated products that range from reagent kits to small and large instruments, plastics, and consumables. They also collaborate and work seamlessly with our supply chain to meet, and exceed, our customers’ expectations.

Working within Bio-Rad's Life Cycle Management organization as a Manufacturing Engineer III, you’ll be an integral part of a larger team that transitions Engineering prototypes to production ready instrumentation. You will take pride in knowing that these products improve healthcare outcomes for people around the world. The work will be highly varied from “hands on teaching” with production staff, to working in multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists solving technical challenges. We need you to provide your technical knowledge and insights to ensure our products deliver the highest levels of quality and functionality.

  • Engineering concepts and requirements and transform them into functional prototypes.

  • Help improve healthcare around the work.

  • Collaborate with other engineering functions to develop hardware and solutions.

  • Be an integral part of a team of engineers and scientists.

  • Work and collaborate with other onsite teams.

What You Bring: 


  • Team player, used to working in a fast-paced development environment. 

  • Able to collaborate well with other engineering functions, such as ME,SW, Biology/Chemistry, etc. 

  • Superior electro/mechanical troubleshooting skills. 

  • Able to interact with a development team which may be geographically dispersed. 

  • Able to provide support for our R&D partners as needed (both internal and external). 

  • 6+ years of Instrument experience.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $111,900 to $153,900 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
