Leasing Consultant

           

JWilliams is the property management industry professional partner – providing great candidates to our clients. Opportunities include temporary/temp to perm/direct hire professionals for our Property Management clients – who partner with JWilliams to find leasing experts who are interested in finding their next “home”. We are looking for leasing experts for communities all over the Bay Area. 

 

Our leasing associates are responsible for all sales activities, lead generation – close, achievement of occupancy & revenue growth goals, generating traffic through internal & external marketing, advertising, qualifying prospects, leasing apartments and renewing second generation leases, preparation of lease documentations, completion of move-in paperwork, fosters an on-going positive relationship, and delivering world class customer service.

REPORTS TO: Community Manager, Assistant Manager or Leasing Manager

 

Job Duties

JWilliams’ Leasing Consultant job duties may include the following functions:

§ Open models and inspect tour path

§ Take service request for residents

§ Prepare coffee/refreshments, if instructed

§ Prepare balloon display

§ Answer Phones: Make follow up calls form internet inquires

§ Check voices messages and respond accordingly

§ Assist in providing resident retention services; group activities & special events

§ Assist in the rental, move-in and renewal process

§ Filing and any other administrative duties assigned

§ Assist in the sales process: invite prospective residents to community, greet and welcome, qualify for community guidelines, pets or other community guidelines

§ Tour prospective residents, demonstrating, amenities, models, and vacant apartments

§ Close prospective residents by asking for hold deposit

§ Prepare follow up for full time staff by completing all necessary paperwork, including JWS Communication Record

 

Additional Qualifications

§ Previous experience in a sales, retail, or customer service role a strong plus

§ Superior customer service skills and a desire to help people

§ Sales-driven personality and a competitive nature

§ Excellent communication skills

§ Ability to work weekends

§ Leave your cell phone off – or in the car. Only use it on your break

§ Never take your personal laptop to use during assignment hours

§ Never remove the key or two-way radio from the community

§ Obey all safety rules per clients JWS requirements

§ Do not accept cash
