General Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Sexual Assault Services, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for quality
service provision for Tri-Valley Haven individual and group counseling. The Clinical Supervisor will supervise the
clinical work of the Counselors, recruit and supervise training interns and
provide individual and/or group counseling to homeless families, domestic
violence and sexual assault survivors and their children as appropriate.
General Requirements: LMFT/LCSW
required. Two years' experience; one in
residential environment; ability to manage time and
tasks effectively. Experience with
family violence and/or sexual assault preferred. Completion of Agency Training within 6 months
of employment (if not before).
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
I. RECRUIT AND SUPERVISE THE CLINICAL WORK
OF INTERNS AND COUNSELORS
for contacting Internship Placements and recruiting interns/trainees.
for providing clinical and group supervision to interns/trainees.
to the Director of Sexual Assault
Services regarding clinical issues
for the management of the counseling department in the Director of Sexual Assault Services’ absence.
terms of the Cal OES SA/DV contracts and other grant contracts will work with
community building counseling and advocacy staff to coordinate services to
domestic violence and sexual assault survivors and their children. 80% of counseling will be brief, no longer
than 8 weeks per client.
